IHC to hear Faisal Vadwa’s plea to stay his disqualification case in ECP

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear Senator Faisal Vadwa’s plea for staying his disqualification case in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday.

Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hassan will conduct the hearing.

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah has already rejected his plea to stay the case. Faisal Vadwa has filed an intra-court appeal against the judgment of the IHC chief justice.

Faisal Vadwa had contended that the ECP could only decide the disqualification case within 60 days.
