Overseas Pakistanis send billions of dollars to the country: Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) – Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervaiz Elahi has said that overseas Pakistanis have supported economy of the country, they send billion of dollars every month to the country.

In a meeting with Pakistani-American President Contractor Association Khursheed Bhalli he said that overseas Pakistani have got the right of vote for their services to the country. “Overseas Pakistanis are also ambassadors of the country. They have got the right of vote so that they could elect their leadership. In strengthening the relations of Pakistan with US overseas Pakistan have played a vital role,” he added.

He said that overseas Pakistanis are playing their positive role in American lawmaking departments. “Now the government has the best opportunity to bring reforms,” he maintained.

Secretary Punjab Muhammad Khan Bhatti was also present in the meeting.
