ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar has formed a larger bench to hear the review petitions filed by the Sharif family against the Panama Leaks case.

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will head the larger bench, while Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Ejaz Afzal, Justice Azmat Saeed and Justice Ejazul will be its members.

Earlier, the three-member bench had sent the matter to the CJP, recommending the formation of a five-member bench.

The counsel for the Sharif family contended that the verdict of the five-member bench would remain intact even the three-member bench pronounces the judgment.

Justice Ijaz Afzal remarked that the three-member bench had pronounced the majority verdict.
