Funeral of martyred Major Ali Jawad Khan held in Peshawar
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Funeral of the martyred Maj Ali Jawad Khan was held in Peshawar on Tuesday.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and a large number of military officers and citizens attended the funeral.
The body will be taken to Quetta. He will be buried in his ancestral graveyard.
Earlier, Maj Ali Jawad Khan who was injured by unprovoked Afghan firing at Torkham embraced martyrdom.
Major Ali Jawad and three security personnel were injured due to the Afghan firing on Monday evening. He was being treated at CMH Peshawar.
He was son of Brigadier (retd) Khadim Ali Khan. His brothers Maj Qasim and Maj Asad are also in service.
