Nawaz Sharif says he has come to restore dignity of country
GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he has come to restore the dignity of the country, not to get himself restored.
Addressing a public gathering on Friday, he said that they have ousted him from the premiership, not the hearts of the people. ““I am lucky as people of Gujranwala love me. I love you too.”
He said that the removal of elected leaders is an insult to the electorate. “We will not tolerate this joke and insult to the country,” he maintained.
Nawaz Sharif said that millions of people had elected him and five honorable judges sent him home. “Your vote has been trampled under the feet,” he added.
Nawaz Sharif said that he could not tolerate this joke, would you. He asked the participants to support him. “Today peace is being established in Karachi and the country is making progress,” he added.
He said that he appealed to the public court, which rejected the court verdict.
He said that each prime minister was insulted and ousted during the last 70 years.
Nawaz Sharif expressed grief over the death of the boy crushed by his motorcade. “The boy is the first martyr of the caravan of democracy. I will visit the boy’s house to offer my heartfelt condolence.” he announced.
