NSC forms sub-committee to prepare reaction to Trump allegations

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Security Committee has formed a sub-committee to prepare reaction to the allegations leveled by US President Donald Trump.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi presided over the NSC meeting on Wednesday.

Representatives of all agencies will be included in the committee that will present its recommendations on September 12.

The Interior Ministry and security officials briefed the meeting about the latest regional situation.

The forum also discussed the Indian ceasefire violations at LoC and progress made in the Operation Raddul Fasaad.

Defence Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Hayat, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admir Muhammad Zakaullah, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, National Security Advisor retired Lt Gen Nasser Khan Janjua and senior civil and military officials were also present.
