ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif appeared before the joint investigation team (JIT) that investigated him for three and a half hours on Saturday.

Talking to the media after the hearing, Shahbaz Sharif said that he and the prime minister had made a little service to the rule of law by appearing before the JIT.

“It has been proved that politicians respect the law,” he maintained.

Shahbaz Sharif said that those making houses in London and Canada and committing corruption in power projects should also be held accountable. “The PPP’s corruption has eroded the country.”

The CM said that there was neither a corruption case against the Sharif family nor it will be made in future.

Earlier, the chief minister accompanied by Interior Minister Ch Nisar, Nawaz, Ishaq Dar and Hamza Shahbaz reached the Judicial Academy.
