PML-N to resist efforts to delay Senate elections
LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will resist to the efforts aimed at delaying the Senate elections.
The decision was made during a long meeting presided over by PML-N president Nawaz Sharif on Monday.
The meeting also decided to expedite the efforts to convince the PPP to support the constitutional amendment.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri and National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also attended the meeting.
