PML-N will emerge victorious at every forum: Raja Zafarul Haq
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Leader of House in the Senate Raja Zafarul Haq has on Friday said that the Supreme Court’s decision in Panama case has vindicated the stance of the prime minister.
Talking to the media outside the parliament house in Islamabad on Friday, he expressed the confidence that our opponents will continue to face humiliation in future as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will emerge victorious at every forum.
Zafarul Haq regretted the PPP’s attitude during the proceedings of the Upper House and said that the PPP has rejected the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to be constituted on the orders of the Supreme Court.
Raja Zafarul Haq, however, said his party will follow the instructions of the apex court and every decision will be taken in accordance with the law.
Answering a question, he said that the opposition has no justification to demand the prime minister’s resignation.
On the occasion, Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali said that the PPP has never accepted the judgments of the apex court.
He said: “The Supreme Court’s decision reflects the aspirations of the people of the country.”
Earlier, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab Ahmad said that all the political parties should honor the decision of the apex court and avoid creating hurdles in the path of investigation by JIT.
He said that the demand of the opposition is reflective of their disappointment on the decision.
