Security forces recover SHC CJ’s son Awais Shah

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Security forces have on Tuesday recovered Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son Awais Ali Shah from the custody of terrorists in near Tank.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR, the security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation near Tank. During the operation, three terrorists were killed.

The SHC CJ’s son was being transported to Afghanistan when the security forces conducted operation.

Awais Shah is presently in the custody of security forces and will be transported back to his parents today.

The security forces have also recovered huge cache of weapons, explosive material and hand grenades.

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif commended efforts of Intelligence and security agencies for the successful operation. He called and congratulated Chief Justice Sindh on recovery of his son.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif appreciated the security forces for succeeding in the recovery of Awais Shah.

He said the security forces deserve commendation for carrying out such a successful operation.

The Prime Minister also congratulated Sindh Chief Justice on the recovery of his son.
