Sirajul Haq visits residence of child killed by cars in Nawaz Sharif’s motorcade
GUJRAT (92 News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has on Sunday visited the house of a 12-year-old Hamid, who was crushed to death by speeding cars accompanying former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s motorcade in Lalamusa.
During his visit, the JI chief condoled the death of Hamid with his parents and also participated in Qul.
He was accompanied by the party leaders including District Ameer Dr Tariq Saleem.
On the occasion, talking to media, he said that the JI and other parties would restrict any attempt to abolish Article 62, 63 of the constitution.
The JI chief said that articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution should also be applied on generals, judges and bureaucrats.
Earlier, 12-year-old Hamid throwing rose petals on the vehicle of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was crushed to death on Friday.
Hamid, a resident of Mohallah Rehmatabad, was hit by a vehicle of the Elite Force. He died instantly.
After the incident, locals staged a protest against the killing of the people. It is pity that no one from the caravan rescued the boy.
