LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Ulema do not consider the Qadianis as non-Muslims.

Talking to a private channel on Thursday, he said t hat the Qadianis act upon the ‘Namaz’ (prayer) and ‘Roza’ (fast).

“They go to mosques and recite ‘Azan’. The Qadianis also do not consider themselves non-Muslims. However, fatwas against them are another thing,” he said.

The minister said that it is responsibility of the government to provide their lives and property. “The opposition with the Qadianis is over the Khatm-i-Nubuwwat issue. The Fatwas and sentiments against them are another thing,” he said.

He said that according to Ulema, the Qadianis cannot say their prayers, recite Azan and construct their mosques. “But there are several complexities. The matter should be discussed at certain level,” he added.

Rana Sanaullah said that there will be a big reaction if someone says that the Qadianis should be recruited into the army. “It should not be discussed in detail. It will cause provocation,” he added.
