Over 100 terrorists killed in combing operations across country: DG ISPR
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Over 100 terrorists were killed in intelligence-based operations (IBOs) and combing operations launched across the country on the orders of COAS General Raheel Sharif.
DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that intelligence agencies are making progress in unearthing networks behind recent wave of terrorism. “There are linkages of support for these incidents from across the border. The border has been seized since last night due to security reasons,” he said.
He said that no cross border and unauthorized entry will be allowed to Pakistan from Afghanistan. “Security forces have been given special orders in to have strict watch all along the border.”
The DG ISPR said that terrorists’ hideouts on Pak-Afghan border have been effectively targeted.
