44 Indian soldiers killed, dozens wounded in Pulwama blast
SRINAGAR (92 News) – Indian-held Jammu Kashmir (IHK), at least 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers were killed and dozens others were wounded in Pulwama blast on Thursday.
According to the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the blast was happened at a bus of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), in which, the Indian troops were travelling.
In the blast, the car was damaged in bomb attack along Srinagar-Jammu highway at Lathpora -Awantipore in Pulwama district on Thursday. A police official said that an attacker rammed the car into the CRPF bus triggered off an intensive blast.
The officer said that twelve CRPF personnel were killed in the blast and thirteen others seriously wounded were shifted to army’s base hospital.
Following the blast the traffic has been suspended on the highway as forces cordon off the entire area and launched searches.

In a statement in Srinagar he expressed serious concern and anguish over the killing of a 15-year-old boy, Suhail Ahmed Wani, in Drugmulla, Kupwara, and injuring of dozens of students in Kakapora area of Pulwama due to mysterious blasts.
He said these bloody plan by India to intimidate the Kashmiri people and divert their attention from the atrocities being committed by Indian troops against them.
Call for the strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership and supported by various political parties and organizations in the valley, including Jamaat-e-Islami, Kashmir Centre for Social and Development Studies and Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
All shops and business establishments will remain close. Indian forces’ personnel have been deployed in strength across the valley.
