2015 better for law and order situation in KP
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Year 2015 was a better year for law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) as the incidents of terrorism decreased 55 percent, while security forces and civilian causalities have also decreased 57 percent as compared to previous years.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has played a front line province role in war against terrorism and the people of province sacrificed many lives for the protection of ideological borders of the country.
The number of deaths has decreased considerably during the current year as 53 police personnel were killed in year 2015 as compared to 83 deaths in year 2014, while two Frontier Corps soldiers were killed this year as compared to nine in year 2014.
Pakistan Army continued to sacrifice lives during the current year for the protection of civilians as the 32 soldiers have been killed in year 2015 as compared to 33 in year 2014.
As many as 45 civilians have been killed during terrorism activities in year 2015, while 183 had been in year 2014, while 87 bombs have been planted this year as compared to 236 in year 2014.
