Zardari calls PPP’s consultative meeting tomorrow
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari summoned a consultative meeting of the party senior leaders on Wednesday (tomorrow).
As per details garnered, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Zardari will chair the meeting.
During the meeting, the matters related to the standing committees of the National Assembly would be discussed. The current political situation of the country will be discussed in the meeting.
A day earlier, opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif met with Zardari in National Assembly, they shakes hand and held a brief and happy gossip during the short meeting.
During the informal meeting, both the leaders inquired about health and brief talk during a session of the NA.
Responding to the questions of the journalists in the lobby of NA, replying to a question about meeting with Nawaz Sharif, Zardari said with a smile, “What do you think about this? I will do whatever you say.”
“But you are the king of reconciliation,” asked the journalist. “I agree to it if you are saying so,” the former president replied. Asked about rumours in Islamabad about his possible arrest, the PPP co-chairman said with smile, “You always fear so, but I do not.”
