23,000 allotments of land worth Rs 1,400b cancelled in Karachi: DG NAB Sindh
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh National Accountability Bureau Director General Col (retd) Sirajun Naeem has said that 23,000 allotments of land worth Rs 1,400 billion have been cancelled in Karachi.
Addressing a seminar in Karachi on Tuesday, he said that investigations into corruption charges against Dr Asim Hussain were going on and no reference had been filed against him so far.
He confirmed that the MPs belonging to the Interior Sindh were involved in corruption.
The Sindh DG NAB said that corruption amounting to hundreds of billions of rupees was committed in the SSGC case.
He reiterated his resolve to take action against corruption at all levels.
