4.7 earthquake jolts different parts of Pakistan

SHANGLA (92 News) – An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 jolted different parts of the country including Shangla, Basham, Swat and suburban areas on Tuesday.

The earthquake mainly hit the northern parts of Pakistan including Swat, Shangla, Basham and other areas at 5:10am.

Panic gripped the area and people came of their houses reciting Kalma Tayyaba.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 26 kilometers from Basham. The magnitude of earthquake was recorded 4.7 on the Richter scale while the earthquake was felt in Islamabad and Kashmir but no loss of life or damage was reported.
