50 dacoits surrender as operation against Choto Gang continues in Rajanpur
RAJANPUR (92 News) – Fifty dacoits surrendered as the Pak Army’s operation continued in the Rajanpur’s Katch area on Friday.
Zarar Company and 7 Commandos Battalion are participating in the operation.
Sources said that the police failed in launching an effective operation against the dacoits.
They said that the first target of the army commandoes was to make the life of hostages secure.
They added that helicopters also made flights in the area, while severe exchange of firing was reported between the dacoits and security forces.
On the other hand, the police have arrested Rashid, a key facilitator of Ghulam Rasool alias Choto.
More arrests are likely to be made on his pointation.
The police are looking for other relatives of Choto to secure the release of hostages.
