Over 40 striking doctors sacked across Punjab
LAHORE (92 News) – The government has sacked over 40 doctors for observing strike on the call of the Young Doctors Association.
Five doctors were sacked from Jinnah Hospital, six from General Hospital and seven from Services Hospital.
The administration has prepared the lists of more striking doctors.
On the other hand, young doctors continued their strike for the fourth day. People faced problems due to closure of OPDs. They threatened to close the emergencies if their demands were not accepted.
The Health Department officials said that they would not allow anyone to play with the lives of patients.
