69,534 people to perform Haj under govt scheme this year: Sardar Yousaf
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 69,534 people will perform Haj under the government scheme this year.
Announcing the Haj Policy 2016 on Thursday, Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf said that they had received over 280,000 applications this time.
He said that on the Supreme Court orders, 50 percent quota had been given to tour operators.
The minister said that they would inform the people about the facilities provided by the Haj tour operators. “All services will be mentioned and the remaining amount will be returned,” he said.
He said that the charges of vaccination and training were also included in the total amount.
“All the pilgrims will live in the Haji Markazia, which is 500 meters away from Haram Sharif,” he said.
