Over 900 Pakistani children fall victim to sexual abuse daily
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – An annual report released by a non-governmental organization (NGO), working against child sexual abuse in Pakistan on Thursday showed dismal conditions of children.
Over 900 children in Pakistan are being sexually abused every day, a report released by a non-governmental organization (NGO), working against child sexual abuse in Pakistan, Sahil revealed.
The organization, in its report, has revealed that 3445 children have fallen victim to sexual abuse during the year 2017, while 1039 children were kidnapped.
The report said that the cases of abuse of young children including 468 girls and 366 boys were reported in 2017.
“Around 158 girls and 180 boys were subjected to gang-rape throughout the country,” the report said. Around 109 children were killed after rape, it added.
