ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former interior minister and PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday has said that eliminate current account deficit with stopping country’s economy is a crime instead of big deal. Speaking to the floor of National Assembly, Ahsan Iqbal said that the government has not completed its previous goals and will not be able to do so in the future. Criticizing the incumbent government during budget debate, the PML-N leader has expressed concern over devastating country’s economy due to wrong decisions of PTI-led government. He said that Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth is continuously decreasing from past two years. He further said that the purpose of the accountability body is only to harass the opposition. “Promises and hopes made to the nation have killed the nation.” he added. “The growth cannot be achieved by cutting the development outlay.
