KARACHI (92 News) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has condemned the increase in the prices of POL products. Reacting to the increase, MQM-P leader Kanwar Naveed said that the people already crushed by inflation cannot afford further price-hike. He said that his party rejected the budget. “The PPP government in Sindh is apathetic. After the coronavirus epidemic, we will invite the people to take to streets,” he added. On the other hand, the MQM-P ended its sit-in outside the Sindh Assembly. Speaking on the occasion, Kanwar Naveed said that the Sindh government had not proposed a single project for Karachi and Hyderabad in the approved budget. He said that only 11 percent of the Rs233 billion budget had been allocated for Sindh.
