Invited to bat, Peshawar Zalmi scored 170 runs for the loss of six wickets in the rain-ccurtailed 15 overs. Shoaib Malik hit 54 runs off 27 balls with eight fours and one six. Haider Ali made 39 runs aided by four 4s and two sixes. Kamran Akmal (23) was another main contributor. Muhammad Hasnain grabbed four wickets off 34 runs, while Sohail Khan and Cutting took one wicket each. Chasing the 171-run target, Quetta Gladiators could make only 140 for the loss of seven wicket in 15 overs. JJ Roy scored 45 runs off 25 balls.
