LAHORE (92 News) – Three more doctors died of coronavirus in different hospitals of the province on Sunday. The doctors falling victim to the deadly virus include Dermatologist Dr Basit of Mayo Hospital, Dr Ghulam Hussain of Social Security Hospital, Shahdra Hospital former medical superintendent Dr Mushtaq. In Multan, 14 traffic wardens were also diagnosed with coronavirus. The affected cops have quarantined themselves in their homes. On the other hand, national hockey team former captain Nadeem ND also tested positive for coronavirus. Meanwhile, a record 6,825 people were infected with coronavirus in one day, reaching the tally to 139,230. According to the data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 81 more deaths were reported increasing the death toll to 2,632. Punjab has the highest number of affected people with 52,601 cases. There are 51,518 cases in Sindh, 17,450 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 7,934 in Islamabad, 8,028 in Balochistan, 1,095 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 604 in Azad Kashmir. According to the spokesman, 81 more people were dead in one day, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,632. The highest death toll was 969 in Punjab, 816 in Sindh, 661 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 83 in Balochistan, 75 in Islamabad, 16 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 12 in Azad Kashmir. The National Command and Operations says a record 29,546 people were tested in the past 24 hours. A total of 868,565 people have been tested across the country.
