10 die as torrential rains, landslide cause devastation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR (92 News) – As many as 10 people were killed in incidents related to torrential rains and landslide across the province.

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority, 17 homes were also damaged.

The PDMA officials visited affected areas in Shangla and directed the district administration to expedite the relief activities.

On the other hand, the power supply system was disrupted due to rains in Dalbdin, Sibi, Harnai, Kohlu and Sanjawi. Two people were killed when the wall of a house collapsed. The Pasni Dam was filled to the capacity.

In Dera Ismail Khan, a high flood has been reported in the River Luni.
