10 killed in road accident in Hassanabdal

HASSANABDAL (92 News) – At least 13 people, including women and minors, were killed in a road accident in Hassanabdal area on Sunday. As per details, the ill-fated incident occurred when a van collided with a truck and hitting a gas pipeline in Hassanabdal, resultantly the passenger van caught fire, killing 10 persons including women and minors on the spot. The passenger van was heading towards Peshawar from Rawalpindi. Rescue officials reached the spot and transported the people injured in the accident to local hospitals. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the traffic accident in Hasanabdal. In a statement, he directed for providing best treatment facilities to the injured and also sought a report from the administration.
