Nine members of a family shot dead over enmity in Rawalpindi's Chauntra area

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Nine members of a family were shot dead over an old enmity in the Chauntra police limits on Friday. The deceased include Saleem Akhtar, Nisar Bibi, Sidra Bibi, Isram Bibi, Abida Shaheen, Iman Fatima, Sabiha Khatoon and Farhan. Moreover, Noor Fatima, Usman and Ibrahim were critically injured. After getting information, the Rawalpindi CPO and DIG Ahsan Younis reached the spot. The police besieged the area and launched the search operation to arrest the killers. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and ordered a report from the Rawalpindi CPO. He also ordered immediate arrest of the killers and bring them to justice.
