10 students drowned after a boat carrying tourists capsized in Kohat

KOHAT (92 News) - At least 10 students have drowned after a boat carrying tourists capsized in Tanda Dam in Kohat.

A tragic boat sinking accident took place in Tanda Dam Kohat. There were 24 students in the boat, out of which the bodies of 10 have been recovered. 5 drowned students have been rescued alive and shifted to KDA Hospital Kohat.

Search is on for other students who drowned in the accident. Divers from Peshawar have also been called to Tanda Dam for the operation.

The non-provision of life jackets for the people traveling in the boats plying in Tanda Dam is not only a momentary concern, but the citizens have also demanded strict action against those responsible.
