10-12 MNAs are under the safe custody of opposition: Ch Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that 10 to 12 MNAs are under safe custody of opposition.

Talking to media on Thursday, he said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) have lost its 18 MNAs. “BAP and MQM are more inclined towards opposition,” he added.

Pervaiz Elahi said that they have not ended relations with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. “If he himself comes for collusion there would be no benefit. The government will face more damage in the collusion,” he maintained.

Punjab assembly speaker said that whatever ministers say, responsibility comes on prime minister.

On the other hand, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that both interviews of Pervaiz Elahi are true. “The leader who takes so many U-turns has not born in the history of Pakistan,” he concluded.
