102 arrested for violating pillion riding ban in Karachi

KARACHI (92) – The Karachi police has arrested at least 102 people for one wheeling and violating the pillion riding ban imposed in the city in view of the security situation on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). The police taking an action in Defence and Sahil police jurisdictions nabbed 102 persons besides taking 50 motorcycles into custody. Meanwhile, the police in a search operation in Jackson and Maripur areas detained over 38 suspected persons.
