11 injured in Mardan blast

MARDAN (92 News) – At least 11 people including two security forces personnel were injured in an explosion at Mardan’s famous Khawaja Gunj market on Tuesday. As per details, some unidentified armed assailants had planted the explosive material near a shop in Mardan’s famous Khawaja Gunj market which exploded early in the morning, injuring 11 people including two security forces personnel. Rescue teams reached the spot and rushed the injured people to nearby hospital for medical treatment. Security forces also arrived at the spot and launched investigation into the incident. The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched a search operation after the blast.
