11 terrorists held in Rangers operation in DG Khan

DG KHAN (92 News) – The Punjab Rangers conducted two separate action in Dera Ghazi Khan over intelligence tip off on Saturday.

At least 11 hardcore terrorists have been arrested during joint operations by Rangers, police and intelligence agencies in DG Khan. Arms and ammunition were also recovered in the operation. 

The nabbed terrorists have been shifted to undisclosed location for investigation.

A Rangers spokesman said efforts are being made to arrest other accomplices and facilitators of these terrorists.

Raids are being conducted in the area to arrest other members of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), he said.

Punjab Rangers continue to take action against the terrorist and extremist elements in the province after they were given special powers under Operation Raddul Fasaad.
