12 kids drown, eight rescued as rickshaw falls into canal in Minchinabad

MINCHINBAD (92 News) – As many as 12 students drowned when a rickshaw fell into Sadqia Canal in Minchanabad on Thursday. The rescuers saved eight children and recovered a body. Efforts are going on to recover other bodies. The children said to be between 9-13 years were going to their homes after school when the accident occurred. After getting information, locals gathered there and launched the rescue operation on self-help basis.
