18 martyred, 25 injured in suicide blast at Jhal Magsi shrine

JHAL MAGSI (92 News) – Eighteen people were killed while 25 others injured in a suicide blast on a shrine in Fatehpur, Jhal Magsi on Thursday. The blast occurred on the front gate of the shrine during the Urs celebrations. Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that the suicide bomber blew himself up when the security officials stopped him. “The security personnel deployed at the central gate evaded a big disaster by displaying valour,” he added. The injured have been shifted to different hospitals. The officials faced difficulties in the rescue operation due to the treacherous terrains. After the blast, FC officials cordoned off the area and launched a search to arrest the accomplices of the suicide bomber.
