ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 12 new cases of dengue fever were reported in the twin cities during last 24 hours.

According to the Islamabad district health officer, nine cases of dengue fever in rural areas and three cases were reported from urban areas. 19 people so far have lost their lives due to dengue fever. The total number of dengue patients in the city have reached 4,554 in the city.

Till now, dengue fever affected 2,591 people in rural areas and 1,963 patients in urban areas of Islamabad.

Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi district health officer said that 25 new cases of dengue fever were reported in the city during last 24 hours. This year the total number of dengue patients reaches 3,385.
