12,400 troops to ensure security during LB election in Cantonment Boards: ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday that 12,400 troops of Pakistan Army and Rangers will be employed on security duty for Local Bodies election on April 25 in 42 cantonments across the country. Troops have been requisitioned by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Troops will ensure security and assist ECP in smooth conduct of elections.
