13-year-old burnt in PK-8303 crash passes away in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – A 13-year-old girl burnt in the PK-8303 plane crash passed away on Monday. According to the reports, maid Naheeda was a resident of Malir’s Jam Kunda Goth and worked at a house in Model Colony. She was injured on May 22 when the ill-fated PIA plane crashed in the neighbourhood. A fire broke out after the plane crash and several bystanders were injured in it. Maida was burnt on 60% of her body. The plane was carrying 99 people, including the pilot and crew, and only two survived.
Technical experts return to France
The technical experts, who investigate the PIA flight crash, have returned to France from Karachi after conducting five-day interrogation. The 11-member team of technical advisers left on a special flight – Airbus A320. The process to decode the plane’s flight data recorder (FDR) and cockpit voice recorder (CVR) will begin in France from tomorrow. Two members of investigation team from Pakistan have also left for France where the final crash report will be prepared by the Airbus technical advisers who collected important evidences from the crash site and also inspected runway.
