Coronavirus cases soar to 22,049, death toll at 514
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The corona patients are increasing continuously as 1,315 coronavirus cases recorded in last 24 hours on Tuesday. According to the National Command and Operation Center, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases across the country jumped to 22,049. There are 8,133 cases in Punjab, 8,189 in Sindh, 3,499 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,321 in Balochistan, 372 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 464 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 71 in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK). As many as 5,782 patients have so far recovered while the death toll from the virus stands at 486 with 24 new deaths and 1,315 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. On the other hand, 222,404 tests have been conducted since the outbreak of the pandemic, with 9,857 conducted during the last 24 hours.
