137 more deaths reported as coronavirus third wave continues to wreak havoc

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 137 more deaths and 5,447 new infections were reported during the last 24 hours across the country.

According to the data available with the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Tuesday, the overall death toll has jumped to 16,453, while the number of cases reported so far reached 766,882.

The positivity cases rate remained at 8 percent.

During the last 24 hours, 68,002 tests were conducted and as a result, the total tests conducted so far have increased to 11,272,531.

There are 273,466 cases in Sindh, 107,309 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 273,566 in Punjab, 70,609 in Islamabad, 21,000 in Balochistan, 15,741 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 5,191 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
