14 die as rain wreaks havoc in Swat and Upper Kohistan

SWAT (92 News) – As many as 14 people were killed and several houses were damaged due to the heavy rain in Swat and Upper Kohistan during the last 24 hours. The flash flood washed away everything on his way. According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the death toll in the flood in Sazain and Lachi drains has risen to eight. Several houses and bridges were also damaged due to the floods. The relief and rescue activities are underway in the affected areas. On the other hand, Astore, Kala Pani and Deosai received the first snowfall of the season. Astore Road was closed due to the landsliding at Doian. Link roads in the upper areas are also closed at different points.
