33 injured as bomb goes off in fruit-laden truck in Lahore
LAHORE (92 News) – Thirty-three people were injured when a bomb went off in a fruit-laden truck on Outfall Road on Monday.
The truck had been parked in a vacant plot. The injured have been shifted to hospital.
After the blast, cracks appeared in several nearby buildings. A 6x20 feet crack appeared at the site of the blast.
The Rangers and police have cordoned off the area. Due to the blast, the roof of a nearby hostel of a private university collapsed. It is being feared that some people might be under the debris.
Several vehicles and motorcycles were also damaged in the blast.
