PISHIN (92 News) – As many as 29 people were killed while 40 others injured in two separate bomb blasts outside the election offices on Wednesday.

In the first incident, 14 people were killed when a bomb blast ripped through the election office of Asfand Yar Kakar, an independent candidate, in Khanozai area, Pishin. security forces reached the spot and sealed the area. A search operation is going on in the area.

In the second incident, 12 people were killed and 12 others injured in a bomb blast outside the office of JUI candidate Maulana Abdul Wasay. A large number of workers present in the office when the blast occurred.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission of Pakistan has taken notice of the incidents and sought a report from the chief secretary and Balochistan IGP.

Balochistan Caretaker Minister Jan Achakzai has termed the blast an attempt to sabotage the election. "The election process will continue despite the tragic incident," he declared.

He said that the government will foil the nefarious designs of the terrorists tomorrow.

In the third incident, five people were injured in a blast near the vehicle of Naseerullah Wazir, a political party candidate.
