14 workers die as marble mine collapses in Mohmand

PESHAWAR (92 News) – As many as 14 workers were killed and several others injured when a marble mine collapsed in Safi, Mohmand on Monday. Rescuers have so far recovered eight bodies and seven injured workers. The Pak Army, Rescue and other agencies are continuing an operation to recover the trapped people. Rescuers are facing difficulties in the operation due to darkness. Mohmand Deputy Commissioner Iftikhar Alam feared that 50 people might have been killed in the mishap.
