140,965 patients recovered as Corona cases in Pakistan begin to decline significantly

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – There has been an improvement in the number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Pakistan with figure now reaching 140, 965. According to the National Command and Operation Centre, the country reported 2,980 coronavirus cases and 83 deaths over the past 24 hours, taking the national tally of cases to 237,489 and fatalities to 4,922. 21,951 corona tests were carried out during this period. As many as 2980 new cases surfaced during the last twenty four hours taking the tally to 237, 489. These include 83,559 in Punjab, 97,626 in Sindh, 28681 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10919 in Balochistan, 13650 in Islamabad, 1595 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1419 in Azad Kashmir.
