147 new cases of dengue reported in twin cities during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as more 147 people fell prey to dengue fever in the twin cities during last 24 hours, increasing the total patients to over 7000.

According to Islamabad district health officer, 41 cases of dengue in rural areas and 45 cases in urban areas were reported. The total number of dengue cases reaches 4071.

In rural areas total number of dengue patients have reached 2,357 and in urban areas the total number of dengue patients crossed over 1,714. 17 people so far have lost their lives due to dengue fever.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi district health officer said that 61 cases of dengue fever were reported during last 24 hours increasing the total patients to over 3000. Condition of 6 patients is critical in Holy Family Hospital.
