Over 150 held for violating pillion-riding ban

KARACHI (92 News) – The Karachi police booked and arrested more than 150 people in just few hours for violating the pillion-riding ban on Sunday. As per details, more than 150 people were booked and arrested for violating a ban on pillion-riding. Around 70 motorcycles have also been taken in custody. The ban came into effect from 6pm from Saturday and will continue till October 13. The ban will not be applicable to women, people with disabilities, elderly people, journalists and children under the age of 12. Police registered cases against them under Section 144. The citizens have been advised to carry CNICs and vehicle registration documents with them.
