17 dengue cases reported in Islamabad during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – After an increase in the dengue cases in Sindh and Punjab, seventeen cases were reported during the last 24 hours.

Two people have died of dengue in the capital. In Punjab, 131 cases of dengue were reported in a day.

Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid said that the dengue cases are increasing. "Owing to a change in weather, the mosquito did not die which resulted in a surge in the cases," she added. So far 736 cases have been reported in Punjab. A majority of patients belong to Lahore.

In Sindh, 338 dengue cases have been reported during this month.
