173 criminals arrested in Peshawar joint operation

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Security forces and police have arrested 173 people in a joint operation involved in criminal activities on Thursday.

According to Khyber DPO Imran Khan, the operation was conducted after receiving secret information. Heavy weapons like Kalashnikov, drugs, 13 pistols, 20-bore rifles, six repeater rifles, one magazine pistol and others were recovered in an operation.

Police have also taken eight motorcycles, one motorcycle-rickshaw and two cars into its custody. The accused have been shifted to the Jamrood police station.
